This RC-scale rear tyre set is supplied as a pair and is purpose-built for 1/10 off-road buggies. The soft compound of the HUDY 816201-S3 emphasises traction on low-grip surfaces and is suitable as a direct replacement or spare for typical rear wheel setups.

Fitment and installation are straightforward for standard 1/10 wheel hex systems: clean the bead seat, mount the tyre on the correct wheel diameter, and ensure even bead seating before balancing. Use the original wheel hex and follow your chassis manufacturer's wheel-nut torque recommendations to prevent slippage or distortion.

Tuning role: fitting a softer rear tyre increases mechanical grip and can help corner exit traction, though it may shorten tyre life and raise rolling resistance. Try pairing these with firmer front tyres to restore steering balance or adjust rear damping and toe to suit the compound.

Notes on handling and maintenance: inspect tyres after abrasive use, rotate between positions if you notice uneven wear, and keep any glue joints or foam inserts secure for consistent behaviour.
