The Yokomo ZR-DRTA Tire Mounting Tape is made to simplify fitting solid competition resin drift tires like the DRA and DRC series onto RC wheels. The slightly firm sponge is about 2.5mm thick and gives a consistent base for your tyres.

Smoother Installation for Tapered Tires

Many DRA/DRC tyres have a tapered inner diameter that can make fitting tricky. The ZR-DRTA tape removes that frustration: peel off the backing paper, stick the tape to the wheel, then fit the tyre starting from the side with the larger inner diameter for an even seating.

Keep Tires Locked During Hard Driving

For reliable track performance and to avoid tyre separation during spirited runs, apply an instant adhesive in a few spots between the tyre and wheel gap. This approach boosts retention and keeps handling consistent under load.
