The Yokomo Z2-302TA gearbox is built for the YZ-2T 2WD racing truck and streamlines diff maintenance through a three-part construction. Only the removable upper cover must be taken off to reach the differential, making inspections and minor repairs faster and reducing time off the track.

Will the Z2-302TA fit older YZ-2T variants?

In most cases yes. The Z2-302TA is compatible with a range of Yokomo YZ-2T based chassis such as B-YZ2T and ROR-010RTR, but double check mount points before fitting.

How much faster is routine maintenance with this design?

Removing only the upper cover lets you access the diff quickly, so basic checks and lubrication take far less time than with a full-case teardown.

Do I need special tools to service the gearbox?

Standard RC tools will cover most jobs: basic hex drivers, small pliers and a pick are usually enough to remove the top cover and work on the diff.
