Yokomo YG-302V2 Steering Control Upgrade

The Yokomo YG-302V2 Steering Gyro sharpens steering stability for RC drift and on-road cars, helping you hold lines on slick surfaces. This V2 unit boosts response while remaining compatible with receivers and transmitters using 2 or more channels, and it installs between your receiver and steering servo. If your transmitter supports 3 or more channels, you can tweak gyro gain from the transmitter dial for on-the-fly adjustments.

Primary Benefits of the YG-302V2

  • Improved Response: V2 tuning delivers crisper correction on low-traction tracks.
  • Versatile Compatibility: Works with 2+ channel radio systems with simple wiring.
  • Adjustable Gain: Use a 3-channel transmitter dial to fine-tune steering sensitivity.
  • Easy Installation: Connects directly between receiver and steering servo for a clean setup.
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes. The YG-302V2 is compatible with 2-channel setups; you simply omit the 3-channel control lead. The unit will operate normally and the red status LED will blink slowly during standard operation.
The gyro senses unwanted steering changes and applies corrective inputs to the servo, reducing twitch and helping the car track more predictably on low-grip surfaces.
If your transmitter has a spare dial on a third channel, use it to adjust gain while driving. Otherwise, set the gain at a safe baseline and fine-tune by making small increments between test runs.
