The Yokomo Y2-REMA Rear ESC Mount shifts the electronic speed controller to the rear overhang to change the YD-2 weight bias. Relocating the ESC adds load to the rear tyres on corner exits, producing noticeably better traction on slick or dusty surfaces and aiding acceleration out of turns.

Carbon Plate Plus Aluminum Stay for Easy Service

This mount uses a hybrid construction, combining a stiff carbon mount plate with an aluminum stay for strength. The layout makes routine maintenance straightforward since the ESC can be removed while the plate remains in place.

Tuneable Rear Rigidity to Match Setup

The aluminum stay offers multiple fixing points: two positions on the damper stay or four points attached to the rear bumper. These options let you dial in rear-end stiffness to influence forward grip and corner exit behavior.

Compatibility Notes and Limits

Made to fit YD-2 series cars, this mount is a flexible upgrade for many set ups. Note that it is not compatible with the Y2-RAC A-arm conversion due to interference between the ESC mount base and the shock tower.
