The Yokomo Y2-OP2A Option Parts Set is made for the YD-2 series and supplies a focused upgrade package to improve handling and drivetrain response. The kit includes higher-precision axles and low-friction bearings that reduce resistance for freer tire rotation and help stabilise the front end during drift runs. An adjustable kingpin angle steering block is part of the set to let tuners refine steering geometry for faster transitions.

What YD-2 models will accept this kit?

This set is designed for the YD-2 series. Most later YD-2 variants accept the parts directly, while very early chassis versions may need minor clearance checks during fitment.

Will the bearings reduce play in the front end?

Upgraded bearings lower friction and can reduce perceived slop, but correct assembly and shimming are important to get the best steering precision.

What tools are recommended for installation?

Basic RC tools are sufficient: hex drivers, needle-nose pliers and a bearing press or driver. A torque driver helps when tightening steering hardware to avoid overloading components.
