Upgrade Your YD-2 Handling with the Yokomo Y2-GC2A

The Yokomo Y2-GC2A Grade Up Conversion 2 brings machined aluminium upgrades to the YD-2 platform, focusing on cleaner steering inputs and more reliable wheel seating. These parts are made to tighten steering feel and reduce setup drift.

Stiffer Steering via Aluminum Bell Crank

The aluminium bell crank in this set reduces unwanted play and damped oscillation, giving a crisper steering response that helps when carrying speed through corners or adjusting lines on the fly.

Clamp-Style Hex Hubs for Consistent Wheel Mounting

Front and rear clamp-type hexagonal hubs lock the wheels in place with better concentricity, helping tyres maintain contact and improving predictability during cornering and acceleration.

Remark :

Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic YD-2 maintenance; the kit replaces standard plastic parts and uses the stock mounting points.
No electrical changes are required; the conversion affects only steering and hubs, so your current servo and receiver will work as before.
The components preserve the original geometry while reducing flex, so adjustments you make on the chassis will be more consistent lap to lap.
Keep fasteners torqued to spec, check for wear at clamping surfaces, and apply a drop of threadlocker where appropriate to prevent loosening under load.
