Race-Oriented Tuning with Yokomo Y2-008FUIA

The Yokomo Y2-008FUIA Aluminum Front Upper I Arm is a key upgrade for YD-2 owners chasing sharper steering feel and predictable handling. Machined from strong aluminium, it allows precise changes to front geometry for improved consistency when pushing on the track.

Caster Range and Setup Options

This aluminium I-arm permits forward and rearward caster adjustment across a 7mm span. That extra range helps drivers experiment with smaller caster settings to influence turn-in, mid corner balance and steering return without swapping major components.

Alloy Strength with Low Mass

Although built from robust aluminium, the I-arm keeps weight down through smart shaping. That balance preserves agility while adding stiffness where it matters, so your YD-2 stays quick and responsive.

Installation Notes

Replacing resin parts with this aluminium piece requires the D-155 series upper I arm rod end adapter for correct fitment. Use the recommended hardware to keep alignment and durability at their best.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is designed specifically for the YD-2 platform and installs cleanly when used with the correct D-155 series rod end adapter. Minor setup tweaks may be needed after fitment.
Basic RC hand tools like hex drivers and needle nose pliers are enough, plus the D-155 adapter and thread locker if you want a secure install.
Reducing caster within the available range can quicken turn-in and reduce steering effort, while increasing caster improves stability and self-centering. Test changes incrementally on your usual surface.
