Aluminum Front Short A-Arms for Precision Drifting

The Yokomo Y2-008FSCA aluminum front short lower A-arm set upgrades YD-2/4 chassis handling by shortening the arm length compared to resin parts. The reduced arm clears wheel movement and supports sharper turning angles, helping drivers reach deeper drift angles while improving front end feedback.

Steering Response and Weight Balance

Machined from durable aluminum with bevelled edges, these A-arms add useful front-end mass and improved weight distribution. The added rigidity cuts flex under load so steering inputs register more directly, increasing stability during committed slides.

Bolt-On Fitment and Required Kits

This kit includes long-type rod end adapters for a straight bolt-on swap on YD-2 models. YD-4 owners will need the separate Y4-AAC front A-arm conversion kit to fit this set. Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with basic RC suspension work.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes for YD-2 models it is a direct replacement using the included long-type rod end adapters. For YD-4 models you must buy the Y4-AAC conversion kit to complete the swap.
Aluminum increases rigidity and front-end weight, which reduces unwanted flex and improves steering precision and front tyre contact during aggressive drifting.
Use quality thread locker where recommended, check ball joint freeplay after fitting, and re-check toe and camber since the shorter arm changes steering geometry slightly.
