Upgrade Your RC Drivetrain with the Yokomo SG-A6490 90T AXON

The Yokomo SG-A6490 90T AXON TCS Spur Gear delivers a hard-type 90 tooth, 64-pitch design engineered for precise power transfer. Manufactured by AXON to match MSR series layouts, it is a practical choice for hobbyists wanting a tougher spur that maintains smooth operation.

Fitment and Tolerance Notes

Built to align with MSR-BD12, MSR-010, and MSR-010A chassis, the Yokomo 90T AXON offers consistent dimensional accuracy for reliable meshing. The hard construction reduces deformation under load, helping the gear hold up during extended running sessions.

Practical Benefits on Track

This 64-pitch configuration is aimed at improving drivetrain efficiency and reducing tooth wear on mating gears. For club racers and weekend tuners, the SG-A6490 can help stabilize throttle response and extend service intervals for related parts.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is designed for MSR-BD12, MSR-010, and MSR-010A layouts, but it may fit other gearboxes that use the same 64-pitch spacing and mounting pattern. Check pinion offset and shaft spacing before fitting.
Set the motor in place and fit the pinion, then adjust until there is a small, even clearance between pinion and spur teeth. Rotate the drivetrain by hand to confirm smooth engagement before running.
Hard spurs are low maintenance but inspect teeth for chipping after impacts. Use a light gear-safe lubricant as needed and replace if any significant wear appears.
