The Yokomo SD-002MCA molded main chassis is a focused upgrade for the Drift Package range. It features a revised battery bay that accepts square lithium polymer and lithium ferrite cells, while an included battery pad lets you fit older NiCd and NiMH straight pack batteries securely.

Will the chassis accept square Lipo cells?

Yes. The SD-002MCA bay is shaped to fit square Lipo packs and hold them securely during sliding practice.

Is there a solution for NiMH straight packs?

A removable battery pad is supplied so NiMH or NiCd straight packs sit tight and do not shift while drifting.

Do I need different electronics mounting?

Most standard ESC and servo layouts remain compatible, but check component clearances when switching to a thicker Lipo pack.
