The Yokomo Y2-REM-RA Rear ESC Mount repositions the Electronic Speed Controller to the rear overhang of YD-2 series chassis to refine weight distribution. That rearward weight shift increases traction at the back end, especially useful on low-grip surfaces where maintaining acceleration and stability is tougher. Moving the ESC rearward also eases load on the front tyres, which can reduce oversteer and make handling more predictable.

Fitting this rear ESC mount can deliver better corner exits and allow a more committed driving style while keeping the car stable under power. Note that if you have the Y2-RAC YD-2 rear A-arm conversion installed, the mount may conflict with the shock tower and both cannot be used together.
