Upgrade the RD2.0 Steering with Slide Rack

The Yokomo RD-202SR Slide Rack Set is built specifically for the RD2.0 chassis to replace the standard steering with a slide-rack arrangement, enabling fine adjustment of Ackermann and steering response for drifting. The forward-tilted rack delivers a firmer, more predictable steering input so drivers can tune entry and exit behavior precisely.

Ackermann Tuning for Drift Control

The forward tilt of the RD-202SR amplifies the Ackermann effect, helping you hold lines during long slides and quick transitions. This geometry change improves steering accuracy at speed without altering core chassis layout.

Fitting Notes and Servo Checks

When installing the Yokomo RD-202SR Slide Rack Set, make sure to reuse the RD2.0 rear-side servo stay supplied with your kit to maintain correct alignment and stability. After fitting, verify servo centring and steering travel before running the car.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The RD-202SR is engineered for the RD2.0 layout and is unlikely to bolt straight onto other Yokomo models without modification.
No special hardware is required, but retain the RD2.0 rear-side servo stay from your original kit to keep the steering geometry correct.
Confirm servo centring, adjust end points and dual rates to suit the new steering feel, and test on a low-speed run to verify no binding.
