The Yokomo YOKMRTCBD5W BD5 World Spec is a 1/10 scale touring car chassis kit engineered for precise handling on asphalt. Built with competitive performance in mind, the BD5 inherits lessons from championship-level designs to help skilled drivers extract consistent lap times.

Weight and balance improvements in the World Spec

This World Spec release concentrates on trimming mass and improving balance. The main chassis and radio plate are arranged for LiPo batteries to produce a favourable weight distribution. Carbon-fiber reinforced transverse arms and lighter steering parts reduce rotating weight while keeping strength where it matters.

Key features that sharpen on-track behaviour

A very low motor position brings the centre of gravity down for improved stability during fast direction changes. Belt pulleys are engineered to cut drag and smooth power transfer. The split engine block design increases rear chassis flex, which helps the rear axle find more traction under load.
