Fine Tune MD1.0 Handling with a Graphite Rear Plate

The Yokomo MD-302RUP Mat Graphite Rear Upper Plate is crafted to fit the MD1.0 chassis and improve overall chassis stiffness. Made from matte graphite, it brings reliable strength and a low-glare finish that helps keep setup feedback consistent on track. Whether replacing a worn component or fitting an upgrade, it gives a precise, race-ready feel.

Benefits of Matte Graphite Construction

Graphite is favoured in the RC community because it delivers a high strength to weight ratio. The matte surface reduces reflections and helps maintain a tidy appearance while contributing to a firmer chassis that reacts more predictably under cornering loads.

Fitment Notes and Simple Installation

This rear upper plate fits the Yokomo MD1.0 series, including MDR-010, MDR-010P, MDR-010R, and MDR-010A. Installation uses the existing mounting points and can be completed with common house tools, making it an easy upgrade between sessions.

Specifications

  • Material: Matte Graphite
  • Compatibility: MD1.0 series (MDR-010, MDR-010P, MDR-010R, MDR-010A)
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The plate does not alter mounting points, so basic geometry stays the same. Its added stiffness can slightly affect chassis flex, which may change handling feel during aggressive cornering.
No special hardware is required. The MD-302RUP installs with standard screws used on the MD1.0 series; just check thread type and torque to avoid overtightening.
Matte graphite tends to mask light scuffs better than glossy parts, but heavy impacts can still show marks. Regular inspection and conservative driving help prolong the look.
