Precision steering for serious drift builders

The Yokomo DPP-302V4PB Racing Performer V4 Steering Gyro is built for drift enthusiasts seeking consistent control. Featuring a quad-mode architecture, this gyro supplies four selectable setups that suit both newcomers and experienced drifters. The slim aluminium shell is finished with gold-anodized beveled edges for a neat, compact fit in your cockpit.

Quad-mode layout with Dual Gain options

The DPP-302V4PB uses a quad system that includes Dual Gain Mode and Dual Gain Control to vary steering characteristics. Select between ASSIST and NOR via the dip switch: ASSIST gives stronger gyro correction to help with RWD drifting, while NOR leaves more input to the driver for competition use.

Adjustable Dual Gain for tailored response

Dual Gain Control lets you dial steering response from 0 to 100 on both SOFT and HARD ranges. SOFT reduces the gyro's initial movement to improve front-end grip on tile or carpet, whereas HARD raises the initial reaction for faster courses or for drivers needing a sharper feel.

Low profile case and digital servo requirement

The thinner case design improves access to switches and keeps the unit unobtrusive in tight builds. Note that this gyro requires digital servos for correct operation; analog servos may not perform adequately. When used with a standard 2-channel transmitter and receiver, the unit will operate in 2-channel mode without a 3-channel control line.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
SOFT mode is best on tile and carpet where reduced initial gyro reaction helps maintain front grip and smoother drift transitions.
This unit is intended for digital servos only. Using an analog servo can lead to sluggish or unpredictable steering behaviour.
Use the dip switch on the unit to toggle between ASSIST for stronger gyro correction and NOR for driver-centric control.
