Yokomo D-CFPA - 30mm Aluminum Cooling Fan (Purple) for improved motor airflow

The Yokomo D-CFPA cooling fan features a durable aluminum housing that helps manage motor heat on YD-2 series cars. This 30mm fan comes in three finish options: silver, red, and purple to match your setup.

Power options and cable reach

The fan uses a pin connector so it can be powered from your receiver or BEC. It accepts 6V BEC output or a direct 7.4V Li-po feed, and the lead is roughly 18cm long to give you flexibility when routing wires.

Mounting notes and hardware

The frame thickness is about 10.5mm, so you should confirm clearance before fitting. A 15mm button head screw is required for secure attachment and is not included.

Will this fan work on other chassis besides YD-2?

It can be adapted to other models that accept a 30mm cooling solution, provided you have the clearance and matching mounting points for the 10.5mm frame thickness.

Is any special wiring needed for 7.4V Li-po use?

No special components are required, but always check polarity and that your receiver or BEC can handle the direct connection when using 7.4V.

Which screw should I buy to mount it?

Use a 15mm button head screw to secure the fan; this size ensures proper thread engagement and clearance.
