Yokomo D-185 Springs Built for Precise Drift Tuning

For RC drifting enthusiasts focused on control, the Yokomo D-185 Drift Spring Set is a practical suspension upgrade. The pack contains four spring types designed to improve chassis balance and running consistency, with uncoated steel construction that is ready for race setup adjustments.

Progressive Winding for Stable Cornering

The D-185 springs use a progressive winding that changes pitch partway along the coil to deliver a blend of compliance and support. That change in rate helps keep ride height steady while softening traction under load, which is particularly useful when fitted to the rear end. When employed on the front, these springs smooth transitions and sharpen steering feedback for tighter drift lines.

Multiple Lengths and Wire Sizes for Setup Options

Standard springs measure 26.5mm overall, and the set also includes 28mm variants and 1.3mm diameter options to help maintain ride height choices. A linearly wound 1.5mm spring is included for front use to increase steering response. Together these choices let tuners fine tune roll, steering feel, and corner entry precision.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
These springs are sized for most 1/10 scale drift chassis that use standard shock assemblies; check your shock inner diameter against the 1.3mm and 1.5mm wire sizes for fit.
Progressive springs give more support as they compress, so fitting a softer progressive spring at the rear can reduce abrupt snap out and help manage throttle-induced oversteer.
Try the 1.5mm linear spring up front for crisper steering; combine with small ride-height changes and damper oil tweaks to dial in slide angle and response.
