Fine Tune RWD Drift with Yokomo D-180A Springs

Yokomo presents the D-180A Drift Spring Set for rear-wheel-drive drift rigs. This pack contains six different spring profiles that let builders adjust balance, steering behaviour and traction without relying on surface coatings, focusing on material and winding for consistent performance.

Front Spring Response for Precise Steering

The front springs use a rough winding to deliver direct, predictable feedback to steering inputs. That immediate response helps the tyres maintain contact and reduces understeer under braking, letting drivers carry higher entry speeds while keeping corner transitions controlled.

Rear Options: Forward and Side Grip Styles

Rear springs come in a forward type and a side grip type. The forward variant sharpens throttle response and gives a clear push during acceleration runs, while the side grip option has multiple windings to smooth suspension motion and stabilise cornering for technical lines.

Surface Adaptability and Flex Options

Each spring profile is offered in two flex ratings: all-round for carpet and asphalt, and soft for P-tile and concrete. This range makes the Yokomo D-180A set a practical choice for drivers who visit mixed surfaces and need quick, reliable changes to suspension behaviour.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The D-180A pack is made for RWD drift setups; check your car's spring seat and part compatibility to confirm fitment before installing.
Choose all-round for mixed carpet or asphalt tracks and soft when you need more compliance on hard tile or concrete. Test incremental changes to find the balance you prefer.
Mixing front direct types with different rear styles is common to tune handling; try the forward rear for snappier acceleration or the side grip rear for steadier drift angles.
