Foam Tire Bonding Solution

The Yokomo CS-SGSTA is a specialist adhesive created to bond foam tires used on 1/12 scale racing models. Its higher viscosity helps form a secure joint between tyre and wheel, delivering a durable connection important for track performance.

Step by Step Application

Start by mounting the foam tyre onto the wheel. Insert the bottle nozzle into the gap between tyre and wheel, aiming toward the centre of the tread. Squeeze a modest amount while rotating the wheel to spread the glue evenly. The adhesive cures slowly in roughly 2 to 3 minutes, so you have time to position the tyre accurately. For consistent results, glue half of one side first, wait for it to set, then complete the opposite side.
