Race focused 1/12 pivot ball from XRAY 373066

The XRAY 373066 Aluminum Pivot Ball is a precision part made for 1/12 scale RC racers who want to shave grams without sacrificing control. Machined from lightweight aluminum, the 5.0mm ball helps reduce unsprung mass to sharpen handling on carpet and bitumen tracks.

Weight saving design that aids rear pod movement

The internal thread design removes the need for a top locking nut, cutting excess hardware and simplifying fitment. With less top-side weight the rear pod can move with greater lateral freedom, allowing more predictable traction and quicker direction changes.

Models and fitment notes

This pivot ball fits common XRAY kits including the XII, X12, X10 Link, and X10'15 platforms and integrates into stock-style rear pods. Check your linkage geometry when swapping to confirm ball seat depth and thread engagement.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
In most cases yes. The 5.0mm size and internal thread match the stock seats on the XII, X12, X10 Link and X10'15, but verify thread engagement before final assembly.
No special tools are required beyond a simple driver for the internal thread. Use a light thread locker if you run on bumpy surfaces to keep it secure.
Aluminum offers good strength-to-weight, but may show wear differently than steel. Inspect contact areas regularly and replace if you notice deformation or excessive play.
