XRAY 365722 Performance 22T Pinion for 1/10 Scale Cars

The XRAY 365722 Aluminum Pinion Gear is machined from 7075 T6 aluminum and receives a hard-coated finish to increase wear resistance while keeping weight low. Its precise tooth profile and true running help reduce vibration for consistent lap times and dependable drivetrain behaviour.

Precise Tooth Form for Low Vibration

Manufactured on dedicated gear machines, each pinion uses exact tooth shaping techniques to ensure smooth engagement with the spur gear. That level of precision helps protect bearings and other drivetrain parts from premature wear.

Clear Markings and Popular Ratios

Each pinion is laser etched with the tooth count for quick selection during setup changes. Available in common sizes, these 48P pinions let you fine tune gear ratios to match different track conditions and motor setups.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes. The 48P tooth pitch matches standard 48 pitch spur gears and motor pinions used in most 1/10 scale electric kits.
Set a proper backlash by fitting the pinion and spur, rotating to seat teeth, then adjust motor position until there is light, even contact across the tooth face.
The hard coat increases surface hardness but does not change standard dimensions. You can trim or fit as you would with any 7075 pinion, but avoid aggressive filing on the teeth surface.
Keep the gear clean of debris, inspect for wear after heavy runs, and ensure bearings and spur gear are in good condition to maximise life.
