Race-Grade Slipper Shaft for XRAY XB4

The XRAY 364113 - Narrow 3-Pad Slipper Clutch Shaft is built to sharpen the performance of XB4 cars. Machined from Hudy Spring Steel, this shaft delivers high strength and consistent wear resistance. Its narrow profile trims rotating mass for improved throttle response and handling on the circuit, making it a solid choice for racers tuning their setups.

Advantages of Hudy Spring Steel

Hudy Spring Steel is favoured in the RC scene for its toughness and fatigue resistance. The material receives extra hardening to stand up to frequent racing loads, and the protective black finish helps shield the surface from abrasion and corrosion during regular use.

Narrow Profile Performance Gains

A reduced shaft diameter lowers rotational inertia, which helps the drivetrain accelerate faster and respond more quickly to throttle inputs. This change is especially noticeable out of corners and on technical sections where nimble handling matters most.

This shaft is specifically designed for the XRAY XB4 series. While it may fit other models, you should check dimensions and clearances before attempting to use it in a different chassis.
Start with your usual slipper preload and reduce the pad pressure gradually until you get smoother low-speed control without slipping under load. Small adjustments make a big difference.
Regularly inspect for wear or scoring, keep the surface clean and lightly lubricate contact areas as needed. Replace when signs of fatigue appear to avoid drivetrain damage.
