Race-Ready Body for 1/8 Off-Road Buggies

The XRAY 359707 body is a purpose-built shell for 1/8 off-road buggies, engineered to work with high-downforce wings to boost front-end grip. The form factor is focused on improved handling, with contours that raise front downforce where it matters most in racing conditions. Around the motor area the body is shaped to allow the engine head to protrude for direct airflow, helping keep temperatures under control during long runs.

Engine Cooling and Airflow Details

A key advantage of this body is the strategic engine cutout that lets the engine head extend into the airstream. That opening increases airflow and heat transfer away from the motor, making it easier to preserve consistent performance in extended sessions.

Fitment and Installation Notes

Designed primarily for the XB8 series, the XRAY 359707 can also be adapted for the XB9'13 model with minor trimming or by stretching the body sides to clear side guards. Expect simple tweaks during installation to ensure proper mount alignment and body tension.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The XRAY 359707 is tailored to XB8 geometry but can be made to fit other 1/8 buggies with minor body trimming and mounting hole adjustments.
A compatible high-downforce wing increases aerodynamic load on the front axle, improving turn-in and mid-corner stability at higher speeds.
Mask mounting and vent areas first, use thin coats of polycarbonate paint, and test-fit between coats to avoid covering mounting points or interfering with the engine cutout.
