Precision Front Shafts for High-Speed XT8 Use

The XRAY 358168 XT8 Front Shock Shafts are machined to tight tolerances to sharpen suspension feel on the XT8. Built from large diameter hardened steel and polished to a smooth finish, these shafts deliver consistent travel and improved responsiveness for competitive driving.

Durable Construction and Low-Friction Operation

Designed to take the punishment of track days and rough surfaces, these front shock shafts use hardened steel to boost strength and service life. The polished surface reduces friction inside the shock body, allowing the damper to move more freely and helping keep the vehicle stable through fast sections and hard landings.

Ideal for Upgrades and Routine Service

Whether you are replacing tired parts or stepping up to a tougher setup, the XRAY 358168 XT8 Front Shock Shafts fit directly and make for a reliable upgrade. They are a straightforward choice for racers and hobbyists wanting consistent suspension performance without extra hassle.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
If you are familiar with basic shock rebuilds the swap is straightforward. Remove the old shaft, transfer pistons and seals if needed, then install the new XRAY 358168 XT8 shafts following standard assembly steps.
These hardened shafts work across the normal range of silicone oils. For track use try medium to heavy oil to control rebound, while lighter oils can improve small-bump compliance on rough layouts.
The hardened finish resists wear so you may see fewer shaft failures, but routine service of seals and oil is still important to keep shocks performing well.
