Precision Front Shocks for XT8 Tune-ups

Improve XT8 handling with the XRAY 358108 Big Bore Front Shock Absorber Set. Made for the XT8 line, these shocks boost damping performance and allow extra suspension travel, helping drivers fine tune their setup for varied track surfaces and backyard bashing sessions.

CNC Finish and Smooth Piston Flow

These front shocks use CNC-machined, hard-anodized aluminium parts to keep the shock body running smoothly and reduce internal friction. Piston movement stays free and consistent, and the three included piston sizes 1.3mm, 1.4mm and 1.5mm let you tune damping to suit different track layouts or personal preferences.

Built Tough for Heavy Use

Each unit is fitted with a 3.5mm shaft made from specially hardened steel for dependable, smooth travel. Aluminium caps and short rubber boots with a hard foam protector reduce dirt ingress and wear, helping the lower shock assembly remain clean and functional over time.

The larger bore and tuning pistons give more oil volume and more progressive damping, which helps the XT8 track straighter over rough sections while still absorbing bumps on smoother surfaces.
Start with the 1.4mm piston as a baseline, then step to 1.3mm for softer rebound or 1.5mm for firmer damping depending on grip and jump response.
Yes, the design is user serviceable; regular oil changes, shaft inspection and boot replacement will keep them performing and extend their lifespan.
