Precision big-bore front shocks for XB808 handling

The XRAY 358103 - XB808 Big-Bore Front Shock Absorbers Kit provides a complete upgrade path for your XB808 suspension. Built specifically for the XB808 platform, the kit supplies all parts needed to assemble two front shock absorbers and includes soft rubber folding boots for protection.

Tuned construction for reliable performance

These oversized big-bore units use an 18.5mm outer diameter and externally threaded bodies with adjustable collars for fine downstop setup. The hard-coated shock bodies are paired with new one-piece aluminum shock caps to boost durability. Internally the 15.3mm bore keeps oil flow consistent, while precisely round pistons made from a tailored composite ensure smooth action.

Consistent damping under load

Wider, redesigned shock membranes improve material stability so damping stays predictable during race runs. The lower assembly reduces oil seepage while maintaining free shock rod movement, using quality silicone O-rings and composite shims secured by a lower aluminum shock cap.

Durable components for rough use

For hard landings and rough tracks the shock shafts are precision machined from high-tensile steel at 3.5mm diameter for strength and smooth operation. The aluminium lower cap has a groove to seat the rubber boot, making assembly and maintenance straightforward.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are engineered for the XB808 chassis. You can fit them to other cars only if the shock towers and mounting geometry match or are adapted with the correct towers and hardware.
The larger bore smooths oil flow and increases damping consistency, which helps maintain predictable handling at race pace and over repeated jumps.
Inspect O-rings and shims regularly, replace oil when feel or response changes, and check shafts for straightness after heavy impacts to keep performance consistent.
