Front Big-Bore Shocks Optimised for XRAY XB808

Upgrade your XRAY XB808 with this full front shock kit designed for consistent on-track performance. These big-bore units use an 18.5mm diameter body with a hardcoat finish and externally threaded collars for quick, accurate preload and ride-height adjustments. Silver C=0.75 springs are supplied to give a balanced feel across braking and cornering.

Precision Pistons for Reliable Damping

Each shock uses precision-formed composite pistons that are perfectly round to promote steady oil flow and smooth stroke behaviour. This careful piston machining helps deliver uniform damping response front to rear, improving predictability through a wide range of track conditions.

Race-Proven Shafts and Seals

Shock shafts are made from high-tensile steel at 3.5mm diameter and are ground to a very smooth finish to reduce stiction and wear. The lower assemblies feature silicone O-rings and composite shims to minimise oil leaks and keep contaminants out during hard use.

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are made for the XRAY XB808 geometry so fitment on other 1/8 models is not guaranteed; some cars may need shock tower or lower mount changes to fit correctly.
Start with a medium weight silicone oil and tune by feel; thicker oil increases damping and slows compression while thinner oil gives a more responsive, softer action.
Inspect seals and oil after each race day and refresh oil and O-rings when you notice drag or reduced performance to maintain consistent damping.
