Enhanced piston design for better suspension control

Built for dedicated RC hobbyists, the XRAY 358031 Delrin 2-Way Flow Shock Pistons use a dual-action layout to refine suspension feel. This kit contains pistons with eight 1.3mm holes plus two 1.2mm holes to tune oil flow for jumps, landings and track transitions.

Distinct compression and rebound behaviour

The two-way flow concept gives different damping on compression versus rebound. A rubber valve covers two ports during upward travel, while all ten openings are active on downward motion, helping to soften landings even with lighter spring rates.

Precision-moulded Delrin for consistent performance

Produced from a durable Delrin composite, these pistons are moulded for true roundness to ensure smooth travel inside shock bodies. The result is repeatable piston movement and matched damping across all four shocks.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Start with a medium viscosity for your track type and adjust one step either way. The two-way flow behaviour reacts noticeably to oil changes, so small viscosity tweaks help dial rebound and compression separately.
They are designed for common XRAY shock bodies and many aftermarket shocks. Check piston bore size and hole pattern against your shocks before fitting to confirm compatibility.
Inspect the rubber valve for wear when you service shocks and replace if it shows cracking or deformation. Keeping the valve in good shape preserves the intended two-way damping action.
