Precision XRAY 358029 Delrin Shock Pistons for Track Control

Built for competitive and club racers, the XRAY 358029 Delrin Shock Pistons use a two-way flow system that adapts to different shock demands. These pistons include six 1.4mm holes and two 1.1mm holes to manage oil flow during both compression and rebound.

Two-Way Flow Explained

The two-way flow layout gives distinct damping on upward and downward travel. On upward movement, a rubber valve seals two holes to hold pressure; on downward travel the valve opens and oil flows through all eight openings. This behaviour helps maintain stable landings even with softer shock settings, useful for jumps and rough surfaces.

Composite Build for Smooth Operation

Manufactured from a purpose-formulated composite, these pistons are moulded for excellent roundness so they move smoothly inside shock bodies. The consistent dimensions promote uniform response across all four shocks, improving handling precision and repeatable setup results.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The two-way flow lets you tune different damping qualities for compression and rebound, giving softer landings without sacrificing control on rebound. It helps keep the car stable after jumps and over rough sections.
These pistons are produced to fit XRAY shock assemblies. Check your shock internal diameter and seal condition to ensure an exact fit before final installation.
Oil choice depends on track and driving style; lighter oils speed response while heavier oils increase damping. Tune oil weight together with spring rate to achieve preferred landing and handling balance.
