Tune Your RC Suspension with XRAY 358027 Delrin Shock Pistons

RC drivers looking to sharpen suspension feel will find the XRAY 358027 Delrin Shock Pistons a practical upgrade. Made for two shock absorbers, these pistons use a two-way flow arrangement to manage oil during both compression and rebound for more predictable handling.

Adaptive Two-Way Flow System

The XRAY 358027 units have five 1.5mm holes and two 1.0mm holes so they react to the direction of piston travel. On upward travel a rubber valve closes two holes so oil moves through the five larger ports, while on the downstroke the valve opens and oil can pass through all seven holes. That arrangement improves landing control and steadies the car even when using softer springs.

Precision Delrin Construction

These pistons are molded from Delrin composite to deliver smooth operation and long wear life. The molding process ensures roundness and consistent dimensions, helping each shock show uniform behaviour - a key factor when tuning for lap-to-lap consistency.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Check your shock shaft diameter and internal piston size against the XRAY 358027 specifications. If the mounting and bore match, these Delrin pistons will install like standard pistons.
Start with mid-range shock oil and adjust to taste. The two-way flow design responds predictably to changes in viscosity, so increase oil weight to slow rebound or drop it for quicker action.
Rinse and inspect pistons after dusty runs, check for burrs, and replace the rubber valve if it shows wear to keep flow behaviour consistent.
