RC drivers looking to sharpen suspension feel will find the XRAY 358027 Delrin Shock Pistons a practical upgrade. Made for two shock absorbers, these pistons use a two-way flow arrangement to manage oil during both compression and rebound for more predictable handling.
The XRAY 358027 units have five 1.5mm holes and two 1.0mm holes so they react to the direction of piston travel. On upward travel a rubber valve closes two holes so oil moves through the five larger ports, while on the downstroke the valve opens and oil can pass through all seven holes. That arrangement improves landing control and steadies the car even when using softer springs.
These pistons are molded from Delrin composite to deliver smooth operation and long wear life. The molding process ensures roundness and consistent dimensions, helping each shock show uniform behaviour - a key factor when tuning for lap-to-lap consistency.
