Performance upgrade for the XB808 using XRAY 355103

The XRAY 355103 XB808 Adjustable Active Center Differential is a purpose-built centre unit that improves traction balance and stability for the XB808 buggy. It is tuned for high-traction off-road surfaces and gives drivers clear options to dial in on-power and off-power response.

Engineered body and hardened outdrives

The diff housing is made from XRAY's composite blend to stay stable under heat and load while keeping weight low. The molded-in steel diff ring provides consistent seating and the HUDY toughened steel outdrives are CNC-machined and lightened to reduce rotating mass without losing strength.

42T gear core with optional teeth counts

Internal gears are die-cast from high-grade steel and hardened to resist wear. The HUDY steel diff gear runs to tight tolerances and is marked "Active 42T" for quick ID, with 41T and 43T options available for setup changes.

Tunable active segments for handling tradeoffs

Active diff segments are CNC-machined from durable steel and feature precision "V" ramp grooves for predictable engagement. The standard 90 degree segment is supplied, with an optional 120 degree segment offered for different traction characteristics.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This unit is manufactured specifically for the XRAY XB808 buggy series and is a direct fit when following the XB808 build instructions.
Adjust the engagement using the Active Diff segments and swap gear counts between 41T, 42T, and 43T to alter torque transfer and midcorner drive.
Regular inspection of gears and outdrives is recommended. Clean debris, check for wear, and use appropriate diff grease or oil as advised by your setup to keep consistent performance.
