Heavy-Duty Composite 50T Spur Gear

For serious RC racers, the XRAY 345550 Composite 2-Speed Gear 50T (1st) combines toughness and controlled flex to extend service life. Made from a tailored composite, this gear balances hardness and resilience to limit wear in high-stress race use.

Engineered Precision for Track Durability

The gear is shaped to cope with intense tension and shear experienced on track while keeping rotating mass low to aid acceleration and efficiency. Each unit is produced in a purpose-built mould that promotes even material flow, yielding true-running gears with minimal wobble.

Tuning Your Gear Ratios Trackside

The 50T size fits into common ratio choices so drivers can tweak gearing for varied surfaces. Tooth counts are stamped on the face of each gear to make identification and quick swaps straightforward during meetups and races.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This spur gear is manufactured to common 1/10 scale dimensions and will mate with the majority of standard transmissions, but verifying spline counts and shaft diameter before purchase is recommended.
Composite construction gives a good mix of strength and controlled give, helping absorb shock loads and lowering the chance of catastrophic failure compared with brittle materials.
Look for uneven tooth wear, chips, and excessive play on the shaft fit. Clean the gear, check the stamping for correct tooth count, and replace if teeth show rounding or frequent damage.
