High precision clutch solution for XRAY NT1

The XRAY 338503 XCA Aluminum Nickel Coated Clutch Set is built to tighten up the response and durability of NT1 touring cars. Machined and finished for consistency, this clutch is a practical upgrade for drivers wanting predictable engagement and longer service life.

Tunable 3-shoe reverse clutch design

The 3-shoe arrangement is easy to tune for different track conditions and driver styles, while the stout clutch spring improves stability under load. The reverse clutch layout helps deliver smoother initial acceleration and reduces aggressive wear on the shoes.

Durable HUDY steel and lightweight 7075 aluminium parts

The kit includes a clutch bell, clutch nut, flywheel nut and thrust bearing collar made from HUDY Spring Steel for strength where it matters most. The hard-coated flywheel, clutch disc and spring cup use Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum to keep rotating mass low without sacrificing robustness.

Basic hand tools are sufficient: hex drivers, a torque driver for clutch nut seating, and a feeler gauge to set shoe clearance. No special presses are needed.
Check the shoes after a few runs on a new setup, then regularly after high-temperature events. Look for glazing or uneven wear and replace shoes when performance drops.
Yes, the clutch is compatible with standard NT1 flywheel arrangements. Changing flywheel mass will alter engagement characteristics, so re-tune shoe clearance and spring tension after swaps.
