RC racers looking to sharpen handling will find the XRAY 338001-K Aluminum Shock Absorber Set made for the NT1 series a practical upgrade. These shocks are engineered to enhance traction and steering precision while improving durability on hard use.

Reworked Shock Geometry for Improved Control

The XRAY 338001-K design updates the internal layout for better traction response and crisper steering. Longer shock bodies combined with extended shafts increase usable up and down travel. All main components are CNC machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum and heat treated to resist wear over time.

Materials and Tunability for Track Setup

Pistons are manufactured from white Delrin to ensure roundness and consistent damping. The set supplies both 2-hole and 3-hole pistons with 1.0mm, 1.1mm and 1.2mm options to fine tune valving. External fine threading makes ride height changes quick, and the low-profile membranes help deliver smooth, predictable dampening.

Do these fit the stock NT1 mounting points?

These shocks are made for the NT1 series and will fit the standard NT1 shock mounts without modification on most builds.

What shock oil should I try first with XRAY 338001-K?

Start with a mid-weight oil suitable for your surface and adjust by one grade at a time; heavier oil for more damping on high-speed layouts, lighter oil for quicker response on technical tracks.

Are these compatible with RX8 specs?

They can be adapted for RX8 builds, but RX8-specific shock towers such as #342080 and #343082 are required for proper fitment.
