Aluminum LCG Top Shaft Built for XRAY XB2

The XRAY 324113 Aluminum 3-pad Top Shaft is a precision upgrade aimed at experienced RC racers. Machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, this 20T top shaft balances strength and lightness to suit the XB2 series. Its LCG-oriented profile helps keep the center of gravity low, improving cornering and traction on both carpet and loose dirt tracks.

Premium Swiss 7075 T6 Construction

Crafted from Swiss 7075 T6, the shaft delivers a high strength-to-weight ratio that resists deformation under load. The hard-coated finish adds wear resistance to frequent gear meshing, making it a dependable choice for competitive running where component longevity matters.

Benefits for LCG Gearbox Performance

The 20T tooth count is optimised for the LCG gearbox layout used in the XRAY XB2 series, helping reduce rotating mass while maintaining reliability. This results in crisper acceleration and steadier drivetrain behaviour during aggressive driving and punchy throttle inputs.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Compatibility depends on the gearbox spec of the older model. It is designed for XB2 LCG gearboxes, so verify mounting points and clearances before fitting to earlier generations.
No special care is required; regular inspection for burrs and keeping gears clean and lubricated is sufficient to maintain the coating and function.
A well-machined lightweight shaft can smooth meshing and reduce some drivetrain noise, but overall noise levels also depend on gear mesh, bearings and lubrication.
