Lightweight Accuracy from XRAY

Built from high-grade aircraft duraluminum, the XRAY 305988 Narrow Pinion Gear gives racers a lighter option without sacrificing fit. It is 1.5mm narrower and about 25 percent lighter than standard pinions, cutting rotating mass for crisper acceleration.

Precision Machining and Run-In

Made on a specially modified precision gear machine, XRAY produces each pinion to tight tolerances to deliver excellent concentricity. After machining every tooth and edge is chamfered and the gear is run-in to ensure smooth meshing and longer service life.

Hardcoat Protection for Longevity

The XRAY 305988 features a hardcoat treatment that helps the gear retain its profile under load and reduces noise when matched with XRAY spur gears. The finish improves wear resistance while maintaining quiet operation.

Which chassis accept this 64-pitch pinion?

Most RC touring and 1/10 scale competition cars that use 64-pitch gears will accept this pinion, but double-check motor shaft diameter and spline count before fitting.
