RC racers wanting precise, low-mass gearing will appreciate the XRAY 305972 Narrow Pinion Gear which reduces weight while improving gear accuracy. Machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, it is 1.5mm narrower and about 25% lighter than many standard pinions, making it ideal for track-focused setups.

High Precision Manufacturing

Produced on a specially modified precision gear machine, this pinion maintains tight tolerances for excellent concentricity. After machining each gear is chamfered to tidy the edges and run in to stabilise contact patterns, and the hardcoat finish adds a durable wear layer for consistent life.

Broad Compatibility and Quieter Operation

The XRAY pinion mates with most spur gears and gives best results with XRAY spur gears, helping to reduce throttle on/off clatter and delivering a smoother, quieter drive straight from installation.
