Smoother Steering with the XRAY ECS Drive Shaft for T4 2018

Give your XRAY T4 2018 a handling boost with the 51mm ECS Double Joint Drive Shaft. This part is aimed at racers who want tighter steering response and more consistent traction during aggressive cornering.

Dual Joint Layout for Reduced Binding

The two-piece joint layout divides the wheel angle into two smaller angles, cutting down on drivetrain bind and unwanted feedback. The result is cleaner steering inputs and steadier behaviour through high speed turns.

Manufactured from HUDY Spring Steel

Made from HUDY Spring Steel, the drive shaft balances lightness and toughness. The hollowed dog bone end trims rotating mass while retaining the strength needed for frequent track use and competitive racing.

Hand-Finished for True Rotation

Each shaft is hand-ground to ensure accurate concentricity and true rotation, which reduces vibration and supports a smoother drivetrain. That attention to finish helps maintain consistent lap times and reliable handling.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The double joint spreads the axle angle into two lesser angles, which reduces friction and binding in the drivetrain. That lowers steering kickback and gives a smoother, more predictable turn-in.
This shaft works with the standard drivetrain layout of the T4 2018. Check that spline sizes and lengths match your setup; you may need specific diff tuning to get the best response.
Inspect the joints regularly for wear and ensure the hollow dog bone end remains free from debris. Lightly oiling contact points and replacing worn parts keeps drivetrain smooth and reliable.
