If you want tighter setup control, the XRAY 303121 Aluminum Shim Set gives a practical way to dial in your RC car. The kit contains shims in three thicknesses 1.0mm, 2.0mm and 3.0mm so you can tune front and rear roll centre, bump steer and toe angles with precision.

Practical uses on track and practice days

Each shim is CNC cut from aluminium and finished in blue anodise for durability and easy identification. With four pieces of each thickness included, the set is useful for racers and club drivers who swap parts frequently. These shims work with a broad range of touring and onroad vehicles that need accurate suspension adjustments.

How shims affect handling

Adding or removing these aluminium shims changes suspension geometry and wheel alignment in small increments, allowing you to stabilise the car or sharpen turn-in depending on track conditions. The pack contains 12 aluminium shims in total: four each of 1.0mm, 2.0mm and 3.0mm thickness.
They are designed for wide compatibility with many onroad and touring platforms that accept thin chassis shims for roll centre and toe adjustments.
Start with small increments, test one change at a time, and record settings. Use a flat surface and proper fasteners to keep shims seated evenly.
Clean with a soft cloth and mild soapy water if needed, then dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the anodise.
