Upgrade Handling on the T4'18 with the XRAY 303003-O Plate

The XRAY 303003-O T4'18 Aluminum Motor Mount Plate is a precision upgrade aimed at racer tuners who want better traction and controlled chassis flex. Manufactured from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, it balances strength and weight for consistent performance during setup changes.

Rear Mount Options for Traction Tuning

This CNC-machined plate adds extra rearmost holes so you can adjust traction to suit grip levels and circuit types. It secures to the chassis with an M3 nut and can be locked with an optional countersunk screw for added stiffness. Removing the nut exposes four further holes for alternate flex settings.

Chassis Compatibility and Reduced Tweak

The mount is designed to work with the in-line chassis flex concept to sharpen turn-in and improve mid-corner consistency. Bulkhead attachment uses two screws under the layshaft plus a front button-head screw, which reduces tweak compared to conventional countersunk fasteners.

Will this fit earlier T4 kits without modification?

This plate is intended for the T4 2018 layout. Older kit years may require drilling or different hardware to match mounting points, so inspect the chassis before attempting installation.

How does moving the motor affect belt line?

Changing motor position can alter belt alignment and tension. After relocating the motor, recheck gear mesh and belt tracking and make small adjustments to avoid binding or noise.

Is the orange finish purely cosmetic?

The coloured finish provides corrosion resistance and visual appeal but does not change mechanical dimensions or performance characteristics.
