Its V8 styled intake and focused airflow add a sporty look while helping to lower operating temperatures. The unit uses an aluminium body and a polyurethane mask for long term durability, and the fan spins up to 13000 rpm to move air through the core.

Thermostat Controlled Fan Operation

This radiator includes a thermostat that switches the fan on at 50°C to protect motor longevity. The 2S fan variant runs at 7.6V and delivers steady cooling without impacting drive characteristics. It fits most 1:10 scale RC cars that use a 36mm diameter motor, making it a practical upgrade for serious builders.

Fitting and Electrical Tips

When fitting to TRAXXAS TRX-4 bodies, you will need to trim or modify the original body mount posts for clearance. Wire the fan carefully, observing positive and negative leads, and use the supplied JST plug for the power connection.
