The Trumpeter 1:72 scale model of the Sd.Kfz.186 Jagdtiger gives a compact but accurate representation of this late WWII tank hunter. Conceived in early 1943, the Jagdtiger was developed to engage hostile armour at long range and to support defensive formations. The production variant represented here uses the Henschel suspension arrangement, one of the two main prototypes alongside the Porsche design.
Suited to collectors of German WWII armour, this kit recreates the Jagdtiger's imposing silhouette with attention to proportion and surface detail. The assembly consists of 94 plastic components across six sprues, offering a satisfying build that rewards careful trimming and painting.
At 145.6mm long, the finished model communicates the scale and bulk of the original vehicle. The kit is composed entirely of injection-moulded plastic and does not include metal or resin additions. The moulded Zimmerit texture adds authenticity to finished builds and helps the model stand out in dioramas or shelves.
