The German Zerstorer Z-28 was a Type 1936A destroyer commissioned on August 9, 1941, and served as a flotilla leader. It carried an unusual main armament arrangement of four single 15cm guns and featured a larger aft deck house to host extra staff. The ship was sunk by British bombers on March 3, 1945, in the Baltic Sea.
This 1/700 scale kit from Trumpeter gives model builders the option of waterline or full-hull displays. The set uses slide-molded upper and lower hull components and includes photo-etched parts to refine small details like the mast and display stand, supporting a realistic finished model.
