Explore Trumpeter 1:48 MiG-3 Early Version Scale Model

The MiG-3 was a key Soviet fighter from World War II, developed from the MiG-1 to improve performance. It entered production in December 1940 and reached frontline units by April 1941. Production stopped late in 1941 because of engine shortages, but more than 3,120 examples were built and it left a strong mark on Soviet aviation history.

Scale Model Details

Trumpeter's 1:48 MiG-3 Early Version kit reproduces the aircraft with careful mould work and faithful proportions. Intended for experienced modellers and dedicated collectors, the assembly delivers a hands-on build that reflects the aircraft's historical role.

Scale Dimensions and Modelling Notes

The full-size MiG-3 had a wingspan of 10.20 meters and a length of 8.26 meters, with a top speed of 640 km/h at 7,800 m. This kit scales those dimensions down to provide a realistic miniature that captures the machine's lines and flight-oriented design.
