The Tamiya 85035 TS-35 Park Green spray paint is a trusted choice for hobbyists wanting a reliable green finish on plastic models. Paint Compatibility and Layering

Tamiya spray lacquers work well with common modelling paints. Once Tamiya TS-35 has fully cured you can apply acrylic or enamel paints over it for detailing and layering without issues. This makes it easy to build up colour and effects in stages.

Application Advice

Prepare the surface by removing dust and grease, then shake the can thoroughly to ensure even pigment. Hold the can about 30cm from the part and spray in light, even passes to prevent runs. Let each coat dry before applying the next to achieve a smooth finish.

Can I use this on polycarbonate/lexan RC bodies?

This TS series is formulated for hard plastic and is not recommended for polycarbonate shells. For polycarbonate RC bodies use paints specifically made for lexan, such as the PS series.

How long before I can apply decals or overpaint?

The surface is touch dry in about 15-30 minutes under normal conditions, but waiting about 24 hours for a full cure is best before adding decals or enamel overcoats to avoid lifting or smudging.

How do I avoid runs and orange peel?

Spray light, overlapping coats and keep the can moving to avoid pooling. Maintain roughly 30cm distance, work in moderate temperature and low humidity, and allow each thin layer to dry before adding more.
