Airbrush and Brush Recommendations

Apply Tamiya XF-51 with a brush or an airbrush depending on the finish you want. For airbrushing, thin with Tamiya thinners 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, or 87077 to improve flow and avoid clogging. The paint also mixes well for custom shades and effects.

Suitable Substrates and Cleanup

This Khaki Drab formula is water soluble for easy cleanup before it dries, while still giving a durable surface once cured. It is formulated for common modelling materials and works well over primers on plastic and wood.
