The Tamiya 95573 Shooting Proud Star Clear Blue Special adds a distinctive touch to the Mini 4WD family, inspired by the classic comic Hyper Dash! Yonkuro. Built on the MA (Midship AERO) chassis, the model uses a midship motor layout for balanced handling and aerodynamic advantage. The MA chassis specs include a 3.5:1 gear ratio, six low-friction rollers and a rear skid bar, making the kit appealing to both shelf collectors and performance-minded tuners.

The body is molded in clear blue ABS for a striking finished look. Included are deep blue metal-plated 4-spoke wheels fitted with super hard slick tyres with a white sidewall pinstripe. The kit comes with a Type 130 double shaft motor and the car runs with a 4:1 gear ratio in standard assembly. Two AA batteries are required but not supplied. A range of Grade-Up Parts is available separately for builders who want to tune handling or speed.
