Tamiya 95567 Spin Cobra Reissue Display Model

The Tamiya 95567 Spin Cobra returns as a carefully reissued piece from the Mini 4WD Mechanical Series, created as a 1/32 static display kit for collectors and hobby builders. This release captures the character of the car seen in the Lets & Go!! cartoon, delivering a nostalgic build that suits shelf display and modelling projects.

Transparent Body and Chassis Detail

The Spin Cobra kit includes a transparent outer shell so modellers can inspect interior styling and mechanical shapes. The clear body can be shown as-is or painted to taste. Metal plated parts are supplied to lift interior and chassis accents, while unplated components represent the chassis, suspension mounts and tyre cowls. Treaded tyres are fitted with a narrow front and wider rear profile for an authentic Mini 4WD silhouette.

Stickers, Fitment and Conversion Potential

Decorative stickers are provided for finishing touches and personalisation. The instruction sheet also explains how to modify the body to accept Super FM and Super-1 chassis types, making it possible to convert this static model into a functioning Mini 4WD if desired, though it is primarily offered for display.

  • Scale: 1/32
  • Length: 127mm
  • Width: 86mm
  • Height: 37mm
  • Material: Plastic with metal-plated parts
Yes. The manual outlines body alterations to fit Super FM and Super-1 chassis, allowing conversion to a running car with the correct chassis parts, motor and drivetrain components.
Use paints formulated for clear polycarbonate or apply thin coats of model acrylic on the inside surface after a light de-grease. Test on a scrap piece first and avoid strong thinners that can cloud the plastic.
Metal plating is decorative and durable for display, but handle plated parts gently during assembly to avoid scratches. If you plan to run the car, consider reinforced components for high-stress areas.
