The Tamiya 95565 Hexagonite Black Special brings a striking look to the Mini 4WD lineup while using the Midship Aero (MA) chassis. The MA layout, with its central motor placement and monocoque frame, is built for aerodynamic efficiency and straightforward assembly, making it suitable for newcomers and experienced racers alike.

Body Styling and Wheel Setup

This special edition uses tinted Smoke ABS for the shell and includes metallic plus clear stickers to enhance the finish. It rides on 5-spoke Orange small-diameter wheels fitted with super hard low-profile tires in Black to keep the silhouette low and stable through corners.

Drive Details and Tuning

Factory fitted with a Type 130 double shaft motor and a 3.5:1 gear ratio, the Hexagonite Black Special is balanced for speed and control. The MA chassis is equipped with six low-friction rollers and a rear skid bar for predictable handling, and a range of Grade-Up Parts are sold separately for those wanting to refine performance.
